JoaQUim Streicher
Research Assistant
My interest for the brain was triggered by a high school team project on the effect of pictures on voluntary behaviour. Since then, I have been striving to increase my knowledge on how the human brain works. Following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Strasbourg, I just completed a Research Master’s in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at University of Amsterdam. My main research interests are consciousness, visual perception, metacognition, free will, and moral responsibility. I am especially interested in translational research, i.e., its application in domains such as human health, but also education, justice, and politics.
