I am thrilled to join the CC lab as a research intern to investigate the relationships of attention, emotion, and body ownership part of the CRPS Pain Project. Working under Tristan Bekinschtein's supervision and building on from Lara C. Bräuchle's recent work, this next phase of the study will involve recruiting new participants and expanding the body of EEG and interoceptive data. This analysis will provide insight into the dynamics of pain as modulated by cognitive control.
Outside of the lab, I am passionate about what modern psychology and neuroscience can teach us about big metaphysical and epistemological questions, trying to appreciate the absurd richness of consciousness as I develop technical skills for scientific research at the CC. |
